Ready to tackle city streets and off-road trails, the 2024 Ford Edge is known as a versatile SUV that’s as comfortable as it is stylish, and it’s now available for test drives here at your neighborhood Ford dealer.

Trims and Performance

This edition of the Edge offers five trim levels to choose from: SE, SEL, Titanium, ST-Line, and ST. While the first four come with an impressive 250-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter I4 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission, the sport-enhanced ST models come with a 335-horsepower 2.7-liter V6 instead that pairs with a 7-speed automatic.

Regardless of which option you go with, all models provide excellent fuel efficiency, with ST models offering an estimated 25 MPG on highways and others getting up to 28 MPG. Intelligent AWD comes standard in every model, allowing you to take on slippery roads and off-road terrains with confidence, and you can tow up to 3,500 pounds on recreational outings when properly equipped.

Comfort and Technology

Inside the Edge, the panoramic sunroof provides wide views across all rows, both rows of seats offer thermal settings to keep everyone comfy, and many stylish high-end seating fabrics are available, ranging from synthetic ActiveX material to premium leather trim. While you and your front seat passenger relax while parked with the fully reclining front-row seats, you can also set two separate climate zones for both sides of the cabin with the dual-zone temperature control system.

There’s also plenty of advanced technology to enjoy, with the SYNC 4A infotainment system meeting most needs with its wireless smartphone connectivity, SiriusXM radio access, and convenient navigation assistance with maps. Placing smartphones on the wireless charging pad re-energizes them quickly, and you can then hop on the Wi-Fi hotspot to connect them to the internet in seconds.

Smart Safety Monitoring

Even the safety features found throughout this SUV are high-tech, with the rain-sensing wipers and Auto High-Beam Headlamps. The Lane-Keeping System, the Blind Spot Information System, and Pre-Collision Assist can all be helpful on highways as well.

The Rear View Camera is also convenient, and Hill Start Assist gives you some extra time to move your foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator whenever stopped on steep hills.
