2025 Ford Maverick

The 2025 Ford Maverick is available in five trims: the XL, XLT, LARIAT, TREMOR, and Lobo. The XL trim features 17-inch steel wheels with full wheel covers and a black mesh grille, while the XLT has 17-inch aluminum wheels with body-color door handles and mirror caps. The elevated LARIAT offers 18-inch bright-machined aluminum wheels, LED signature lighting, and LED fog lamps.

The TREMOR stands out with 17-inch dark-finished aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires and a front grille adorned with bronze accents, and the Lobo's performance-focused appearance sports 19-inch alloy wheels, exclusive exterior badging, graphics, and a lower center of gravity design. All trims incorporate a refreshed front fascia featuring darkened headlamp covers and a redesigned bumper.

The 2025 Maverick offers two powertrain options: a 2.5-liter hybrid engine that generates 191 combined horsepower and comes paired with an electronic continuously variable transmission, plus a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that delivers 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque, which is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid powertrain comes standard on the XL, XLT, and LARIAT trims. The EcoBoost engine is included on the TREMOR and Lobo trims and optional for the XLT and LARIAT models.

The 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine propels the Maverick from 0 to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds, while the hybrid powertrain delivers an impressive 42 mpg in the city. The new hybrid all-wheel-drive system, available on the XL, XLT, and LARIAT trims, provides enhanced traction across varying road conditions. EcoBoost models equipped with the tow package can pull up to 4,000 pounds, and hybrid variants maintain a 1,500-pound towing capacity. The TREMOR enhances off-road capability with a 1-inch suspension lift, while the Lobo features a sport-tuned suspension for improved handling.

Across all trims, a 13.2-inch touch screen with SYNC 4 technology and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility anchors the dashboard. The XL and XLT trims feature cloth seating surfaces and a 6.5-inch productivity screen in the instrument cluster. The LARIAT upgrades to ActiveX synthetic leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a larger 8-inch digital instrument cluster (also included in the TREMOR and Lobo models). All trims come with under-seat storage and a built-in 5G modem. Higher trims offer a wireless charging pad for added convenience.

Ford Co-Pilot360 technology comes standard on all Maverick trims and includes pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist. A new 360-degree camera system with a split-view display enhances visibility, which is particularly helpful while parking or completing tight maneuvers. The XLT and higher trims add a blind-spot information system with cross-traffic alert, and the LARIAT comes with rear parking sensors and offers the option of adaptive cruise control.
