2025 Ford Expedition

For the 2025 model year, the Ford Expedition is available in four trims: the Active, Tremor, King Ranch, and Platinum. The Active features a black mesh grille with Active badging and 18-inch black-painted aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. Enhancements on the Tremor include 33-inch all-terrain tires providing 10.6 inches of ground clearance and a specialized front fascia featuring orange accents and recovery hooks.

The King Ranch stands out with its two-tone paint scheme incorporating Stone Gray lower accents. The Platinum rolls on 22-inch polished aluminum wheels. Every model comes equipped with LED headlights, fog lamps, and daytime running lights. The King Ranch and Platinum trims include power-deployable running boards. A new split-folding liftgate design capable of holding up to 600 pounds comes standard across the Expedition lineup.

The Active has a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine with 380 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The Tremor, King Ranch, and Platinum variants come with a high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine that produces 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. Power is delivered through a 10-speed automatic transmission across all trims. The Active comes standard with rear-wheel drive and offers four-wheel drive as an option. Four-wheel drive with selectable drive modes comes standard on the Tremor, King Ranch, and Platinum models.

The Platinum accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds. Standard-wheelbase four-wheel-drive models can tow up to 9,600 pounds when properly equipped, while Expedition MAX four-wheel-drive variants can tow up to 9,000 pounds. The standard Terrain Management System provides up to seven drive modes. The Tremor includes Trail Control with Trail Turn Assist and Intelligent Four-Wheel Drive with Rock Crawl mode for tackling challenging terrain.

A 15.5-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen with SYNC 4A and a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster command the Expedition's dashboard. The King Ranch features Del Rio leather seating with signature logos, while the Platinum incorporates premium leather seats with a specialized perforation pattern. The King Ranch and Platinum trims benefit from an active noise control system. Third-row power-folding seats come standard across all variants. The cabin provides 21.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row. Second-row captain's chairs are available as an option. A built-in Wi-Fi hotspot keeps occupants connected.

Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 with Pre-Collision Assist comes standard on all trims. The Platinum offers Ford's BlueCruise hands-free highway driving capability. The King Ranch and Platinum variants include a 360-degree camera system with a split-view display. All models feature adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality and lane-keeping assist with lane centering to help maintain proper vehicle positioning.
