The Tremor, King Ranch, and Platinum variants come with a high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine that produces 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. Power is delivered through a 10-speed automatic transmission across all trims. The Active comes standard with rear-wheel drive and offers four-wheel drive as an option. Four-wheel drive with selectable drive modes comes standard on the Tremor, King Ranch, and Platinum models.
Performance
The Platinum accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds. Standard-wheelbase four-wheel-drive models can tow up to 9,600 pounds when properly equipped, while Expedition MAX four-wheel-drive variants can tow up to 9,000 pounds. The standard Terrain Management System provides up to seven drive modes. The Tremor includes Trail Control with Trail Turn Assist and Intelligent Four-Wheel Drive with Rock Crawl mode for tackling challenging terrain.
Interior
A 15.5-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen with SYNC 4A and a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster command the Expedition's dashboard.
