2023 Ford Ranger

The 2023 Ford Ranger is offered in three trims: XL, XLT, and Lariat. You can also opt for a SuperCab (extended cab) with a 6-foot bed or a SuperCrew (crew cab) with a 5-foot bed on any trim. The XL rides along the road on 16-inch steel wheels, while the XLT ups those to 17-inch alloy wheels. The XLT also opens up the 301A package for a Sport, Chrome, or Black exterior appearance package and the 302A package for heated and power-folding outside mirrors.

The Lariat has LED headlights to light the way, and if you add the 501A package, you can also enjoy rain-sensing windshield wipers. The Tremor Off-Road package is also available for the XLT or the Lariat, featuring underbody skid plates, side steps, and 32-inch all-terrain tires.

The same engine powers each trim of the 2023 Ford Ranger. You can enjoy 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque from the turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine in the Ranger. This engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission for a seamless ride.

Ford has added many performance enhancements to the 2023 Ranger, including a best-in-class payload capacity. You can tow up to 7,500 pounds in your Ranger, plus carry up to 1,905 in the bed to easily get any job done. Rear-wheel drive is standard on each Ranger, but you can opt for the available four-wheel drive if you need better performance over various conditions. The Tremor Off-Road package can be added to get you FOX shocks, a revised suspension, and 0.8-inch increased ground clearance for off-road trail riding.

The 2023 Ford Ranger offers an interior made for form and function. The XL features a Wi-Fi hotspot, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, one USB port, a four-speaker stereo, and a 3.5-inch display screen. You can add the 101A package to get keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, a six-speaker sound system, and a larger touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

You get a standard 8-inch touchscreen on the XLT, and with the 301A package, you can also get a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The 302A package adds power-adjustable and heated front seats to your XLT, while the Technology package gets you a navigation system. The top-of-the-line Lariat offers leather upholstery, and with the 501A package, you can enjoy the sounds of a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium audio system.

Ford knows safety's important when selecting your next vehicle, so the 2023 Ranger has many safety and driver-assistance features. You get forward collision mitigation and an advanced airbag system on each trim level. With the Co-Pilot360 package, you can add a lane-keeping assist, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic forward emergency braking. Higher trims also offer adaptive cruise control and front and rear parking sensors.
